Southborough – Robert and Barbara Delarda of Southborough will celebrate their 70th wedding anniversary on Oct. 16.
Robert and Barbara (Marsh) met while working at Deerfoot Farms in Southborough. The couple married on Oct. 16, 1949, at the Immaculate Conception Church in Marlborough, with a reception held at the Fayville Hall in Fayville.
Robert, 90 and Barbara, 91, have lived their entire married life in Southborough, where they raised their two daughters, Sue (Wood) and Diane (Levay) and still reside. Their happiest moments in life are those that are spent with their children, grandchildren and extended family.
